What work can be done onsite?

Brake bleeds, tyre changing, wheel truing, drive trains, suspension servicing, basically any servicing work that can be completed within 1.5 hours and does not require special replacement parts to be ordered. This will be confirmed by phone when your booking is set.

What work can't be done onsite?

Any full frame strip downs, wheel building or work that is likely to exceed 1.5 hours and require the use of parts I don’t have on board. This will be confirmed by phone when your booking is set.

what if I have another bike or job I would like looked at the same time as the bike i’ve already got booked?

Please let me know as early as possible if you have any add on requests as spare time and space to take on additional jobs each week is limited. Hopefully I can fit it in, but in some cases the additional work will need to be booked for the next available time.

How long will it take for my bike to be ready?

Onsite work will be carried out on a Monday or Friday and will be ready within 2 hours of when your bike is received. Bigger jobs that need to be taken away will be collected on a Monday and returned on Friday, however by arrangement you might be able to pick it up earlier from my workshop.

What is the best way to book?

The online booking form is the best way to book, but you can also call or text me on 021 024 83227 or email me at James@dirtmerchants.co.nz. I’m often busy with servicing work so might not be able to respond immediately - but I will get back to you!

Can you assist with small repair jobs?

No job is too small but its worth noting that the minimum charge per job is $100 + gst which can be comprised of both labour and any parts used. This covers up to the first hour of servicing for your call out.
